Delivery, setup, and pickup are included in all Full-Size Classic Claw Machine packages (Basic, Elevated, and Luxury) and in the Elevated and Luxury Mini Claw Machine packages. The Mini Basic package ($449) does not include delivery and requires the client to self-collect the machine.

How much space does the machine need at my venue?

Can the machine be used outdoors?

Outdoor use requires prior written approval from Party Box Rentals. Please let us know at the time of booking if you are planning an outdoor event and we will advise on feasibility.

Basic — $1,099: 5-hour rental. Unlimited free play. Delivery, setup, and pickup included. Prizes not included.
Elevated — $1,399: 7-hour rental. Unlimited free play. Delivery, setup, and pickup included. Plush toy prize package included.
Luxury — $1,599: Full-day rental. Unlimited free play. Delivery, setup, and pickup included. Premium prize package (valued at $400+) included. Prizes can be customized to your event theme.

Mini Claw Machine:

Basic — $449: 5-hour rental. Unlimited free play. Delivery not included — client is responsible for self-pickup and return. Prizes not included.

Is delivery and setup included?

Delivery, setup, and pickup are included in all Full-Size Classic Claw Machine packages. For the Mini Claw Machine, delivery is included with the Elevated ($799) and Luxury ($949) packages. The Mini Basic package ($449) does not include delivery — the client is responsible for collecting and returning the machine safely.

Are prizes included in the rental?

Prizes are included in the Elevated and Luxury packages for both machine sizes. Basic packages do not include prizes — you are welcome to supply your own (see prize policy below). Luxury packages allow prizes to be customized to match your event theme, colours, or corporate branding.

What happens to leftover prizes at the end of the event?

Any prizes remaining in the machine at the end of the rental period are returned to you. If you are unable to take the prizes on the day, Party Box Rentals will hold them for one week after the event.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 60 days in advance, particularly for weekend events and the busy wedding season. Popular dates fill up quickly, and early booking is the best way to secure your preferred date. Last-minute bookings may be available — contact us to check.

What is the deposit and payment schedule?

A non-refundable 50% deposit is due at the time of signing to secure your booking and remove your date from availability. The remaining 50% balance is due no later than 7 days before your event. Failure to pay the balance by this deadline may result in cancellation of the booking with the deposit forfeited. We accept e-transfer, credit/debit card, and cash (receipt provided).

What areas in Calgary do you serve?

Party Box Rentals delivers throughout Calgary and surrounding areas in Alberta. Delivery to areas outside the Calgary metropolitan area may be available at an additional charge, which will be confirmed at the time of booking. Contact us to confirm delivery to your location.

What does my venue need to provide?

Please ensure the following are available at your venue:

A standard 120V, 15A power outlet within reasonable proximity to the machine placement area
Adequate access for delivery, including parking, elevator access if applicable, and clear pathways to the placement area

Our team handles all delivery, setup, and pickup — you don’t need to do anything else.

Can I supply my own prizes?

Yes. If you choose a Basic package (prizes not included), you are welcome to fill the machine with your own prizes. Client-supplied prizes must meet the following conditions:

Items must fit within the machine’s prize compartment (maximum dimensions provided upon request)
Items must not be fragile, liquid-filled, sharp, or otherwise hazardous
Items must be provided to Party Box Rentals at least 24 hours before the event, or delivered on-site at setup time

Party Box Rentals reserves the right to refuse any prizes deemed unsuitable or potentially damaging to the machine.

What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

Rescheduling more than 14 days before the event: Free of charge, subject to availability.
Rescheduling fewer than 14 days before the event: May be accommodated at an additional cost, subject to availability.
Cancellation more than 7 days before the event: The 50% deposit is forfeited. No further charges apply.
Cancellation fewer than 7 days before the event: 100% of the total rental fee is forfeited. No further charges apply.

Am I responsible for damage to the machine?

Yes. The client accepts responsibility for the machine from the time of delivery until pickup. The machine must not be tampered with, moved after setup without approval, used outdoors without prior written consent, or filled with unauthorized items (food, liquids, oversized prizes). In the event of damage, Party Box Rentals will provide a written assessment and the client is responsible for reasonable repair or replacement costs within 14 days.
